Johnson Beach is the designated swimming area at this gulf-front park and offers ample parking, restrooms, restroom and shower facilities, grills, picnic pavilions, seasonal lifeguards, and a boardwalk trail. The back entrance to NAS Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels Flight Team, is just a 3-4 minute drive to the East. This is also home of the Naval Aviation Museum which has free admission and is open to the public.
