This swanky modern vacation home was recently remodeled with high-end designer fixtures and contemporary finishes. Located in one of the most sought-after central Palm Springs neighborhoods, the Movie Colony East, this 2,500 sq ft home features resort amenities including a large pool, bubbling spa, putting green, fire pit, built-in gas grill, covered outdoor dining area and covered outdoor lounge. In addition, a wet bar, gas fireplace, mountain views, a spacious master suite, mid-century modern inspired furniture and a sunny interior create the ideal Palm Springs experience. All four bedrooms feature an en suite bathroom and sliding glass doors that open to the private grounds.
"The Palms" is the spacious primary suite features an en suite bath with tile floors, double sink vanity, walk-in shower and spa-like ambience. The bedroom has a King size bed, vanity, 60'' TV, walk-in closet, dresser and sliding glass door overlooking the pool.
"The Swimmers" guest room has a Queen size bed, large closet, dresser, mountain view and an en suite bathroom with bathtub & shower. A sliding glass door opens to the fire pit area.
"The Otis" guest Room has a King size bed, 50” TV, walk-in closet, dresser, mountain view and an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. A sliding glass door opens to the fire pit area.
"The Casita" guest room is an attached Casita, separated from the other three bedroom suites, and overlooking the pool and spa. It features a King size bed, 50” TV, walk-in closet, dresser, vanity, mountain view and an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. A sliding glass door offers easy access to the pool and spa, and combined with a large window and second glass door, invites an enormous amount of Palm Springs sunshine into the entire room.
The main living area is an open floor plan that includes a living room, dining room and kitchen that opens onto the pool, spa, two covered outdoor seating areas and spacious backyard. Sunshine pours into all three rooms bathing them in natural light.
The living room is contemporary yet comfortable and cozy. The L-shaped couch with chaise, along with two side chairs, can accommodate eight in front of a 70'' TV and inviting gas fireplace. The living room also has a fully equipped wet bar with built in fridge, pendant lighting, three barstools, retro music streaming system and a swanky vibe.
Palm Springs is renowned for its mid century modern style, and nowhere in this luxury vacation home is this better exemplified than in the dining room: a mid century inspired table, eight mid century inspired chairs, yellow contoured accent wall and whimsical chandelier create the perfect Palm Springs dining experience.
The fully equipped kitchen seamlessly delivers both form and function to the short order cook and gourmet chef alike. It features a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator (with ice-maker). Sunshine streams into the kitchen through a large window that also offers guests a mountain view while preparing your favorite meal.
Movie Colony East, a neighborhood in Palm Springs, is home to this vacation home. Agua Caliente Cultural Museum and Plaza Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and O'Donnell Golf Club.
