The name comes from the saying, “Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.” We sincerely hope that your stay is full of delight!

Red Sky at Night is located in Seabrook’s Farm District, facing onto a pocket park called Orchard Walk Park. Like all Seabrook greens, the park has its own unique character including a bubbling water feature that provides a soothing backdrop to fall asleep to at night. The house is just steps (quite literally steps) from the forest and The Narnia Trail - a great hiking and mountain biking trail that weaves through the quiet woods where resident birds provide an ongoing soundtrack. And the outdoor fun doesn’t stop there!

The Farm District’s many amenities are all within a two to three minute walk of the house: the horse barn (watch the horses have breakfast!), tennis courts, pickleball court, playground, basketball court, volleyball net, dog park and Horseshoe Park with its huge fire pit, gardens and lawn that begs for a frisbee. Check out our new shed with a variety of sports equipment (tennis, pickleball, badminton, balls) and games (bocce, bag toss…) prior to heading to the playgrounds.

Walking to Seabrook’s Town Center shops and restaurants, the indoor pool, or the beach is quick and easy too. Take a trail, wander through the town streets, or hop on the bike. You’ll find yourself at the grocery store or the beach in a matter of minutes.
Red Sky at Night was furnished and appointed by a professional interior designer who shares our love of the beach and the sea. Bright and colorful nautical and ocean-inspired touches are found throughout! The home’s open floor plan allows for festive gatherings of family and friends, while providing privacy for guests at night.

On the first floor, a large colorful mudroom is just inside the home’s back door: a spot for sandy shoes, wet bathing suits and jackets. A sun-filled master suite sits to the rear of the home, with an adjoining bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The fully stocked cook’s kitchen opens to a light and bright dining area with a custom-built farmhouse table, created from reclaimed barn flooring.

In the great room, a comfy sectional and side chairs surround the warm gas fireplace and smart TV above. And to ensure that all hours at Seabrook are fun, a large selection of movies, books, board games and puzzles stock the great room cabinets and bookshelves, ready for a fun game night or a movie marathon. The library of games and movies is diverse – a bit of something for everyone!

On the upper floor, a second primary suite with an attached bath looks over the park with its water feature. In addition, a full bathroom with a shower and tub is off of the hallway, serving the needs of the guest bedroom and the bunk room. The bunk room is fun! Painted a cheery red, it has two sets of bunk beds and a flat panel TV with an XBOX One S console, allowing the kids (or an occasional grown kid) to play games or watch movies upstairs, while the adults enjoy some child-free time on the main floor. The front-load washer and dryer are conveniently located in the laundry closet between the bedrooms on the second floor.
Outside, Red Sky at Night aims to delight as well. The wide front porch has twinkle lighting overhead for a bit of romance. The ambiance includes two rocking chairs and a porch swing, perfect for lazy afternoons and evenings. Enjoy a cup of tea, or a coffee while observing the fire magically dance over the decorative glass on our newest fire table. The back yard is fully fenced, keeping visiting pups and kids within sight. An outdoor shower is a great option for washing off sandy kids or four-legged family members. And next to the shower, the large hot tub is perfect for any time of the day or night with fun lighting that runs through a spectrum of colors.

Guests who want to join in the fun, but not in the water can sit nearby in comfortable outdoor seating and enjoy the twinkle lights above. A new Weber gas grill is ready for Saturday barbecues, complete with an overhead light for checking the temperature of the steaks. Speaking of four-legged guests, Red Sky at Night is very pet friendly. Selection of dog beds, bowls, toys, tennis balls, shampoo, dog-specific towels and of course a beach-ready “chuck-it.” So, don’t leave Fido at home!

Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and horse riding nearby.
