Our Mandalay Shores Beach house is located in the beautiful community of Mandalay Beach. This is a 30 day minimum furnished rental located in a peaceful oceanfront community. The large sandy beach is right in your front yard, view of the crashing waves from the house, were you can surf, boogie board and enjoy long walks on the beach-it's never crowded so it is like you have your own private beach! This house is great for families with children of all ages. There is plenty to do for everyone and lots of space to spread out. The backyard has a new hot tub, a large sand box for the little ones that is sure to provide hours of entertainment, fire pit for roasting marshmallows and keeping you warm on chilly nights, chaise lounges for sunning and a table for all your outdoor meals. The new Hot Springs spa has a state of the art moving jet system that give you an amazing full back massage. There is a bbq to cook your fresh catch from too! It is a gas grill so no need to hassle with propane tanks. Don't forget the outdoor shower to take a nice warm shower and rinse off after your day at the beach.
Not to be missed is the very large community park with a wonderful Pirate themed Park for the kids just one block from the house. This huge play center is sure to keep the kids begging to go back daily! So much fun to be had. For all you Pilates & Yoga fans, check out the daily classes held at the park and beach. Anyone can join. There is also Neptune Park 2 blocks the other direction which is a great little park right on the sandy beach. There are swings, slide, basketball court and volleyball nets too! Walk to a variety of nearby restaurants. Don't miss the bicycle paths for fun, family friendly bicycle rides. The Harbor Island Marina is also within walking distance which offers day trips to the Channel Islands, Whale Watching, Kayaking, Duffy Boat Rentals, Fishing Excursions, and so much more! Great shopping is near by too! So many great new shopping centers with movie theaters, restaurants, and even the Camarillo Outlet Mall with every designer outlet store you can hope for!
Known as a peaceful beachside community with incredible beachfront mansions, the street our home is located on is prized by the neighbors as a one of a kind beach front opportunity. Our house offers beachfront access without the high prices of the super mansions in the area. The beach and dunes right in front of our home are usually totally empty making it feel like your own private beach. Keep an eye on your group at the beach from the living room window.

About the house: Our home is a spacious two story, house with soaring ceilings and so many big beautiful windows to enjoy the views. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, one of which is the first Master Bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom. The second floor living area has a large Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen with stunning beach, dune and ocean views from the front main room. Also on the second floor is a Family room with Powder bathroom, a balcony and this is next to the second Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

LOCATION: Conveniently located near Ventura, Santa Barbara, Malibu and Ojai, off the 101 freeway. We are 55 miles north of LA, about 35 minutes south of Santa Barbara, just 10 minutes from downtown Ventura and 10 minutes from all the great shopping in Oxnard. Visit Oxnard or Ventura for a wide selection of dining-you won't be disappointed with the great variety of restaurants.

Enjoy classic California beach living at its best. Take in the stunning ocean and dune views from the huge living room. You can drink your morning coffee from the comfort of your living room or dining table while checking the surf conditions out front. Enjoy the view of the preserved beach dunes with tall grass, sailboats cruising by and the Channel Islands too. There is so much to do in the immediate surrounding area yet with the beach right there it will be hard to leave until after watching another beautiful ocean sunset.

FAMILY ROOM: The family room has a 2 full size sofas and 2 occasional chairs that provides plenty of seating to enjoy each others company, watch a movie and relax all while enjoying the dramatic ocean view. A wall of windows let in the sound of the crashing waves and bring the beautiful beach breeze and sounds in. The family room is equipped with a large flat screen television with surround sound, direct tv/blu-ray/netflix and WiFi throughout the house.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is located right next to the living and dining room. Equipped with beautiful new custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and new appliances including a commercial range. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking wants and needs. The large dining room table that seats 8-10 lends perfectly to big family meals or hours of card games. The large open kitchen has plenty of work space for multiple chefs in the family. Enjoy preparing meals together and since the kitchen is open to the dining and living areas you won't miss any of the action while cooking.

First Floor BEDROOMS & BATHS: The first floor has 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom a cozy retreat for one or two couples or a group of kids is equipped with 2 twin over full bunk beds. You can sleep between 4 and 6 people. The second room downstairs has a queen size bed. Sleeps 2. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with double sink vanity with a tub shower combo. The third bedroom downstairs is a Master Bedroom with a King size bed and en-suite master bathroom with double vanities, a luxurious claw foot pedestal tub, separate shower with rain shower head, and private toilet room. There is a walk in closet and coffee/wine bar too. This room has a big slider that opens to the peaceful backyard. Sleeps 2. All bedrooms have new flat screen televisions, mattresses, luxurious duvets and fine linens on the beds to provide the ultimate in comfort.

A washer and dryer are available to keep all your beach towels fresh for the next days fun!

MASTER SUITE: The master suite upstairs has tall wood paneled ceilings and big windows with an en-suite bathroom with single sink vanity and a large shower with a luxurious rain shower head.
This master also has a new king bed, wall-mounted flat screen tv and a great sitting area with an oversized chaise lounge. Sleeps 2

FAMILY ROOM: The upstairs family room has a Sectional sofa with chaise perfect for a family movie night. This sofa converts in to a Full size bed for 2 which adds another sleeping space. There is a 1/2 bathroom off this room too.

SURF & SAND: Ventura County is known to have many of the coasts finest surf spots. This home has one of these surf breaks right out front. Oxnard Beach break and just a few minutes down the beach is Hollywood beach break. Both well known as great surf spots by the locals. With miles of beach, you can enjoy long walks or runs on the beach, look for shells or enjoy the ocean wild life too.

The max occupancy, including guests is 10. The quiet hours in the back yard are 10pm to 8am. We do not allow any gatherings, celebrations or special events at the house.
