*LOCATION - The cottage is located about 1 mile from HWY 441 and 2 miles to 12 restaurants including the famous Dillard House About 12 miles to Highlands from Dillard or if you are comfortable with mountain driving , be sure to take the Gorge Road from Highlands to Franklin - visit and photograph the waterfall along the route- Dry Falls, Bridal Veil and Cullasaja. Easy access to a private organic garden to pick produce in season. Paved driveway, fire pit Easy to get to the cottage. THERE ARE NO WINDING ROADS, NO STEEP ROADS TO ARRIVE AT COTTAGE. No traffic to hear, just the Little Tennessee River and birds. The mountain views from the cottage offer a change as the sun and clouds move across the faces of the mountains, leading the description of Land of Light and Shadow. Fire up the grill or cool off with the mountain streams, or waterfall or a dip in the river on the private property.
