This is the perfect private getaway for large families or any large group. 4 Cottages right on a beautiful lake Huron beach. There are three 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottages with couches that pull out into a twin bed. The 4th cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. All together the resort sleeps up to 21 people comfortably and can squeeze in 24 guests if need be. Relax on the beach, take a dip in the lake, or simply sit by the fire, we have whatever you're looking for. Four miles south is the town of Oscoda known as Paddletown, USA thanks to the beautiful AuSable River which lets out into Lake Huron just before downtown. Also in Oscoda are awesome areas to hike and fish. Travel down River Road scenic by-way named Michigan's most scenic drive by Big Seven Travel, which cuts through the Huron National Forest, with many stopping points such as Lumberman's Monument and gorgeous Iargo Springs.
Oscoda is home to this resort. Sturgeon Point Light and Lumberman's Monument Visitor Center are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lakewood Shores Resort - The Gailes Golf Course and Lakewood Shores Resort - Serradella Golf Course.
