This unique, contemporary home has the best of both worlds - the seclusion people are looking for when they come to Ojai and yet only a 10 min walk to the center of town. The estate was designed to capture the spectacular mountain views from any vantage point on its 2 acre lot. The expansive property includes many fruit trees, live oaks and an olive grove. Because of its stunning foliage and expansive property, not a single house can be seen from the property which truly feels like you’re in the middle of the forest.

The house is located in the foothills of the Los Padres Forest - just steps from Shelf Road and Pratt Trail - hiking, walking, running, birding, and mountain biking are available to you right from the back door. Walking into town for the farmers market or a wine tasting takes a few minutes as the downtown center is located less than a mile away. Use our bikes to enjoy all that town has to offer including the bike path which can take you throughout Ojai!

Watch the pink moment the gorgeous sunsets from the upstairs porch, host a cookout on the patio, lounge in the 8 person hot tub, and enjoy all the wonderful things Ojai has to offer - great food, olive oil tastings, spas, hiking, golf, tennis and wine tastings.
The open concept house has a contemporary feel while also offering a warm sense of home. Two levels of living area gives the home a feel of expansion and easy access to the private and gated two acres. Recently renovated with beautiful wood flooring, fresh paint, and window coverings. Patios and decks surround the home adding outdoor living areas to this already exceptional home. The great room has a large TV and fireplace and captures views of the valley out each window.

There is a 6 person dining table inside as well as outside on the deck taking in the valley views. There are 4 chairs at the counter for a casual dining experience while being part of the cooking experience. Viking 6-burner stove, griddle and dual oven are a chef’s dream come true! Plateware, silverware, green safe cookware, and kitchen tools are all stocked to ensure you can cook anything for your group with ease. DeLonghi espresso maker also allows you to make drip coffee as well as any espresso drink like a barista.

We want our guests to feel rested and relaxed when they stay at Casa Verde so we ensure your sleep experience is unforgettable. Feather top mattresses, soft sheets, soft lighting in the bedrooms and the quiet that comes from living on a secluded property all contribute to a great nights sleep.

The oversized hot tub can very comfortably fit 6 guests and has views of the mountains and backyard. The trampoline, swings and flat turf area are great for kids to play on.

Parking is available for a maximum of 3 cars at any time. Tesla charger available as well.

Air conditioning in every room in the house. The house is also designed with “passive solar” which ensures optimal air flow, reduces sunlight penetration and naturally keeps the house cool throughout the day and night.

The property is best suited for quiet getaways for families and small groups. Parties, events, or other gatherings that may involve loud music or excessive noise are specifically not allowed. The maximum number of guests is strictly limited to 8 guests, including children
