While your Bethany Bay vacation home serves as your quiet nest at the beach and bay, the 200 acres of protected wetlands that surround Bethany Bay Resort Community serve as a sanctuary for the birds, fish, and other wildlife that populate this area. Bethany Bay's prime waterfront location offers spectacular views no matter the time of day. The sun rises over the ocean and bay each morning, signaling the new day to each heron, gull, fish, and human that inhabits this lush natural area, and each evening the western bay reflects the colors of the sunset.

Bethany Bay's ponds and the surrounding coastal waterways are a vital homeland and way station for numerous species of waterfowl, including ducks, geese, and several varieties of herons and egrets. Nestled along the Indian River Bay is a very fun and challenging 9-hole par 3 golf course. Playing surfaces are comprised of bentgrass/ poa aanua putting greens, and a mix of bentgrass/ bermuda tees and fairways. Along with views of the Indian River Bay, ponds and wetlands come into play on 6 of the 9 holes. The golf course is a great experience for all skill levels as hole lengths vary from 99 to 199 yards, with an average round time of 1 hour 15 minutes. Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax at the rate of 4.5% of the rent upon every occupancy of a short-term rental within the State. This new tax went into effect on January 1, 2025. The tax applies to all short-term rentals in Delaware, including those listed on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo.

MISCELLANEOUS
Win-Le Vacation Rentals provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; 7 sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths; and 2 bathmats. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

Win-Le also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) reusable/disposable dish cloth, (2) dishwasher pods, (2) laundry pods, (1) 2-in-1 travel size shampoo/conditioner, (1) mini bar soap, (2) 13gal kitchen trash bags, (2) 4gal bathroom/wastebasket trash bags, (1) tube travel size toothpaste, (1) travel size hand lotion, and (1) travel size hand sanitizer. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.

The maximum occupancy is 7 people.

No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.

Per HOA rules, the clubhouse and fitness center are not permitted for renter's use.

Check-in is 3PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from Win-Le Vacation Rentals is considered unlawful trespassing. We do not offer the ability to pay for early check-in or late check-out. Win-Le Vacation Rentals will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.
