Come and stay in our beautiful country home in the spectacular southern Sierra. We are only 17 gorgeous miles from the entrance into Yosemite National Park. Spend the day hiking the trails in Yosemite then come home and enjoy a refreshing swim in the large, private in-ground pool. Relax in our comfy hammocks or play horseshoes and badminton. Like to read? Curl up in one of our outdoor lounge chairs, relax, read and enjoy the sweet smelling mountain air. We have a stainless steel grill to BBQ to your heart’s delight. After dinner soak in our secluded therapeutic mineral spa reviving sore, trail weary muscles. You are only 7 minutes from the mountain village of Oakhurst where you can dine out in one of our many restaurants, take in a movie or perhaps a play at the Golden Chain Theater. A 30-minute drive up historic Hwy 49 takes you to Mariposa, an authentic gold rush town with the oldest continuously working courthouse in California, and visit one of the best museums in the area. Bass Lake is only 10 minutes away from our country home if you want to spend the day fishing and boating. Our area has many beautiful drives to take, trails to hike and things to do. Come and visit and you will want to come back again and again and again.
Oakhurst is home to this vacation home. Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad and Fresno Flats Historical Park are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at River Creek Golf Course and Ascent, the Spa at Tenaya Lodge. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as ice skating and snowmobiling.
