Newly built Mjøs Cabin is a great place to stay for a small or larger group and has an amazing view overseeing lake Mjøsa. Beautiful cabin with a Spectacular view. Fully equipped high-end kitchen, very comfortable beds. Super cool outdoor set-up with a modern grill! Perfect for entertaining a big crowd! Great trails for XC ski and sledding right outside cabin. Kids winter paradise while adults can Relax enjoy the view. Ideal sun conditions outside where you will have sun from morning to evening. The cottage is well-equipped if you want to cook yourself and also in a good location close to Oslo and Lillehammer if you want to go out and have dinner.
An easy walk down to the two adventure play areas where there is a good variety of equipment and space to play football and volleyball and a petanque area even closer to the cabin. The goats nearby is a big attraction too.
You will find the perfect balance between spaciousness and comfort, with five bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms with a toilet as well as a separate toilet and a large kitchen with dining area.

Neighborhood description
Mjøsli is an established and social cottage area with nature and experiences for colleagues or family and friends right outside the door. Mjøsli is also perfect for slow leisure. In the cabin area there is a separate activity area with soccer field, beach volleyball, swing set and trampoline. The area is popular with children and young people of all ages.

In the forests behind Mjøsli there are unprecedented walks, skiing, hunting and cycling opportunities, as well as several idyllic forest lakes. Cycling, skiing, trampoline jumping, playing volleyball or football, remembering, climbing, bouldering, playing, boating, swimming, fishing, jogging, grilling, knitting, hunting, reading, baking and cooking, watching TV, full speed or lazy days.

If you are interested in golf, you can settle for Atlungstad and a game of golf or a visit to the distillery.

The zoo at Tangen is a popular destination for families with children. The zoo is especially nice. Plenty of space and a nice place to go on a trip. Bring your own food and grill at one of the nice picnic areas in the zoo.

If you are interested in art and culture, the hinterland is the center for this. There is the Norwegian Emigrant Museum and the Motor History Museum. You also do not have to go far to visit Prøysenhuset.

Do you want to climb in a climbing park? Domirkeodden and Helgøya. There is an easy and demanding climbing trail. Both adults and children can climb here and find suitable big challenges.

Bouldering is becoming more and more popular. The bouldering usually takes place by climbing on detached rocks in the forest. In Stange you will find Eastern Norway's best boulder areas. The area in general has an enormous potential for bouldering in all levels of difficulty.

Getting by car:
From Oslo it takes approx. 1 hour by car
You can take a taxi or rent a car from Gardermoen (Oslo Airport), takes approx. 30 minutes to get to Mjøshytte.

Located in Stange, this cabin is in the mountains and on a lake. Sagstua Skolemuseum and Eidsvoll 1814 are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Hurdal Skisenter and Nannestad Skisenter / Åslia. Traveling with kids?
