There is both fresh water and salt water within a short distance. Hålandshovda and Hovdalstølen are good hiking destinations where you can experience Norwegian nature first hand. Only a short drive away is the Langfossen waterfall. Otherwise, the National Tourist Routes in this region are recommended to experience the graceful Western Norwegian landscape. Also visit the famous rocky outcrop Trolltunga.
