The space
Come relax at our mountain top home. Exposed timbers and vaulted ceilings. Lovely light all day long.
The well-equipped kitchen, recently renovated bathroom and cozy living spaces will give you comfort and ease. The mountain views can be enjoyed from three porches on the east and west sides.
Spacious and open living areas, this 3 Bed/ 1 Bath home features:
- A large kitchen; fully stocked.
- An open floorplan that creates a spacious connection between the kitchen, dining room, and living room.
- Three porches where you can enjoy the warm morning sunlight and take in the evening sunsets and starry skies.
- Laundry room in basement.
- Master bedroom with walk in closet, vaulted ceilings, twin bed with twin trundle and private deck.
- Second bedroom with Queen bed.
- Third bed in loft (up spiral staircase) with a full bed.
- Living room with TV.
- Wood burning Elm stove.
- Playroom/family room with second TV.
- Outdoor shower.

Guest access
- PLEASE NOTE: Off-grid Wifi - We use an internet hotspot that works for basic needs. Please know that it's slow at times. Some days it's great some days it's slow. If you need to be on zoom video calls all day, this internet is not consistent.
- Complimentary streaming services: Netflix and Amazon Prime. Same situation for streaming.
Other things to note
NO PETS!!
Please understand that this is not your regular cookie cutter airbnb. This is a completely off-grid house so has some quirks. We built thisr house on a mountaintop, up a bumpy gravel road, where we could raise our babies wild and free. We now split time between NC and VT and opening our doors for a limited amount of time each year.
Most cell phone providers work well.
We prefer to have contact with prospective guests by phone or email before accepting a reservation.
**Long stays welcome and at a discounted rate! Get in touch for details.
**A cottage (sleeps 4) and a renovated airstream (sleeps 2) can be booked for additional guests.
Also, the cottage (on a separate listing) sits about 150 meters from the house. Still very private but may cross paths with other guests.
Roxbury is home to this vacation home. Sugarbush Ski Resort and Northfield Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Northfield Shopping Mall and Berlin Mall. Green Mountain Girls Farm and Rock of Ages are also worth visiting.
