As travelers ourselves we value transparency, here are some specific things to be aware of.
- This house is in great shape and all our furniture is new. However the bathrooms and the kitchen could use an updating.
- Please note that the tub is perfectly clean, and functional, but has a slightly unsightly corrosion stain from an improper clean. It's perfectly safe, just not cute.
- We have our home professionally treated for pests and in the hot season we have it treated for mosquitoes to make the yard more fun and less buggy. That being said, this is still the deep south, and you may see a bug. This is not an indication of cleanliness, just the reality of a humid swampy area :) If you do see one just call us.
- This neighborhood is safe and our neighbors are chill but no area is perfect. Some people's yards look great, others don't. Some houses are pristine, some need updating. However this area is walkable and has plenty of kids in the area.
North Charleston is home to this vacation home. North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum and Summerville Dorchester Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Trident Technical College- Thornley and Golf Club at Wescott Plantation.
