Big Sky is a 45 year old family home. It is a five-bedroom, 3.5 bath, house featuring a library wall and grand piano. Big Sky has gorgeous long-range mountain views. Big Sky is located in the Linville Heights Subdivision and is centrally located between Newland and Linville, which is just a short distance to Banner Elk. To enter Big Sky there is handicapped accessible ramp as well as stairs.
Main level features open concept living and dining, as well as an updated kitchen. Living room features a gas log fireplace with mounted TV and easy deck access. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset from the walk-out deck. Master is located on main level with a Queen bed and full bath. Additional sitting room is also located on the main level. Upper Level features two guest rooms and a full bath. Lower level offers two guest rooms and shared full bath. Although Big Sky is an older family home, the following updates have been made in recent years: deck replacement with addition of a florida room, all the windows and window treatments have been replaced in the entire house, new metal roof with upgraded insulation and new tongue and groove pine ceiling, and all new comfort height toilets. Big Sky would love to host you and your family and friends!
Located in Newland, this vacation home is near a water park and in the mountains. Sugar Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Resort are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Pisgah National Forest and Grandfather Mountain. Take in the nearby slopes with skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as ice skating, snowmobiling, and sledding.
