The Big House, as it is referred to, is a Historic 1850's, renovated beauty which sits on 2 acres overlooking the Hudson River and the Newburgh Beacon Bridge. The house and grounds have gorgeous views from most of the rooms, porches and lawn. It is and has been a fabulous gathering space for family, community and events. It was also the setting for a recent Hallmark Movie. The house is within walking distance of Newburgh's waterfront and downtown historic district and shops / restaurants.
Located in Newburgh, this vacation home is in the mountains and on a river. David Crawford House and Ritz Theater are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Benmarl Vineyards and Winery and Riverlight Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Newburgh Armory Unity Center, or check out an event or a game at Dutchess Stadium. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and ecotours nearby.
