In the past this building was a nail factory, then it was in use as a stable. Now the building is beautifully renovated for a relaxing vacation. The open kitchen is connected to the dining area and living room The cottage has a large and furnished terrace, so you can eat together outdoors. The cottage is located on the property of the homeowner, where you can also visit a small petting zoo with goats and geese. The vacation home is located in De Meern, 7 km from the historic center of Utrecht. The beautiful city center of Utrecht, with craft stores and canals, is well worth a visit. Utrecht is also called Domstad because of its cathedral with the highest church tower in the Netherlands. During your vacation in Utrecht, also take time to explore this beautiful province. Visit the welcoming town of Amersfoort, the charming town of Bunschoten-Spakenburg and the impressive de Haar Castle in Haarzuilens.
