Welcome to the Squirrel's Nest! This home was built in 2007 and has been used as a vacation rental home. Our family rented it on numerous occasions and fell in love. We were recently given the opportunity to purchase the home and did so without hesitation. The welcoming community, spectacular views and cozy cabin feel are all you need to feel right at home.

Our home sleeps 10 people comfortably, with room to relax and play inside and out. Enjoy the amazing decks - a covered main deck with rockers which wraps around to a large deck with a picnic table, gas grill and amazing westward views of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as Mount Mitchell. Three of the bedrooms also have private balconies - the perfect place to escape for some peace and quiet. The main level master suite includes an extra long bathtub for you to stretch out in and relax. The downstairs living space includes a pool table, shuffleboard table and a closet full of movies and board games to make your stay fun no matter the weather.

Our home is located off Interstate 40, outside of Morganton and Marion, NC. There's so much to do within a 30-60 mile radius: breweries, wineries, shopping, hiking and more! We hope you visit the Squirrel's Nest.

Located in Nebo, this cabin is in a rural area and in the mountains. Silver Fork Winery and Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit The Outpost and The Foundation Performing Arts and Conference Center. Old Fort Railroad Museum and Bouncin' Kids are also worth visiting.
