This beautifully renovated 6 bedroom, 6 ½ bath home has all the modern amenities and is just a short stroll from the best Nantucket has to offer, including restaurants, shopping and galleries. The home boasts four levels all beautifully appointed with lovely amenities including brand new furniture throughout, flat screen televisions (9), 7 zones of Sonos, and central air conditioning. A quick drive to the beaches that make Nantucket famous. This fully stocked house has all the items needed for a perfect beach day including chairs, coolers and games. Plenty of bikes are available for you to hop on the bike path and venture out of town to explore the island. Or, relax on the patio in the peaceful backyard with a gas fire table, grill and private shower.
First Floor: The main floor boasts multiple living areas where you can relax, play games or watch the latest sports events simultaneously on 3 flat screen tvs! A custom seated bar area with beverage/wine fridge and ice maker is the perfect area for entertaining. For those who need a private place to work the office which overlooks Main Street has 2 desks with monitors and a printer. The sun-filled, oversized, chef's eat-in kitchen is a fabulous place to sip your morning coffee or cook a delicious meal. Gather round in the beautiful dining room to enjoy your lobster dinner while toasting a perfect day.
Second Floor: Two separate staircases lead you to the the second floor. With 4 ensuite bedrooms, everyone has their own private space. All bedrooms feature comfortable beds, crisp linens, plenty of closets and marble bathrooms with glass enclosed showers. Separate thermostats allow all your guests to stay comfortable. The large and airy primary bedroom suite features a king-sized bed, sitting area and deck to enjoy the beautiful yard. The other 2 king bedrooms offer plenty of space to relax. A double queen bedroom completes the floor.
Third Floor: Head upstairs to a beautiful queen bedroom suite with views over the treetops. Follow the ladder up to the widows walk to overlook the island and watch the sunset towards Madaket!
Lower Level: Just when you think you have seen it all, venture downstairs for an additional oversized family retreat with a large living room, kitchenette and eating area. Try your hand at shuffleboard. The area is complete with a full bathroom and a bunk room that comfortably sleeps 8. A well stocked laundry room with two pairs of new washers and dryers is available. A separate staircase allows you quick access to the back yard.
Exterior: Outside there is off street parking for three cars, a private oversized back yard with the oldest Catalpa Tree on the island, manicured landscaping, an outdoor kitchen, a sitting area with gas fire table and retractable awning, two loungers, an enclosed shower and a separate barn with bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers and games.
Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Nantucket Town, a neighborhood in Nantucket. Historic Mitchell House and Fire Hose Cart House are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nantucket Ferry Terminal and Cisco Brewers. Vestal St Observatory and Loines Observatory are also worth visiting.
