6 Br Private Vacation Home Vacation Rental In Nantucket, Massachusetts

Newly renovated fully air conditioned home (March 2019) that sleeps up to 13 people, located in mid-island. A beautiful bike ride to Cisco Brewery & Bartlett's Farm (under 2 miles). Close to Surfside & Cisco Beach.

The space
6 Bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has two singles & is located on the first floor.
Laundry room and half bathroom is located on the first floor, next to the bedroom (no shower/tub).
Bedroom 2 (master) has a king & is located on the 2nd floor, it has a full bath with double sink. A shower and a separate tub with jets.
Bedroom 3 & 4 both have queen beds. Located on the 2nd floor.
Full bathroom with shower/tub is located on the 2nd floor, in between Bedroom 3 & 4.
Bedroom 5 & 6, located in the lower level, both have queen beds and have a full bathroom with a shower. There is a separate living area down there too.

Guests are greeted with an open living space & beautiful kitchen as soon as you open the door.

Check out is a very strict 9am. We are very sorry that we cannot offer any later, we have a lovely relationship with the island's top cleaners and we must abide by their schedule. Guests will be charged $350 per hour for every hour you delay checkout.

Smoking
No Smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes, anywhere on the property, including the porch, the back garden or the firepit area. No where.
Any smoking that must take place, must be done at the end of the driveway. Cigarette butts need to be disposed of properly and ensured that it is not still lit before leaving the area.
If you smoke, you will be asked to leave immediately. We have zero tolerance and will not make any acceptions. You will have 1 hour to pack and it will be your responsibility
& expense to find new accommodation. You will not be refunded.
$500 fine cigarette butt found on the property. Immediate removal from the property, no exceptions or second chances.
$1000 fine if smoking occurs on the porch or by outdoor furniture. Immediate removal from the property, no exceptions or second chances.
$2,500 fine if the home smells like smoke when you checkout.

Trash
Recycle and separate appropriate trash. You will be responsible for the caretaker’s or cleaners fee to separate your trash. This begins at $250. Recycling is Mandatory on Nantucket.

As your vacation comes to a close, we ask that you return your rental home to the condition you found it in. We have been hired by the homeowner to come in for a minimal amount of time after you leave to make sure everything is ready for the next family coming in. One of the most important things to do is the laundry.

LAUNDRY: The night before you leave: Wash all the beach towels as well as other towels and laundry you will not need for the rest of your stay. If you’ve had guests already depart, we suggest washing their bed linens the night before. Try to get all the towels into the dryer as well, since this is what takes the longest to dry. Place a note in a visible place letting us know what is clean.
Please ensure that there is no sand on your towels before putting them in the wash. This will break the dryer. Brush them off outside.

Departure Day: Start the washer as early as you can. Start stripping the sheets and pillowcases off the beds, and towels as they become available. Leave them downstairs by the washer and dryer! If you get sheets through the dryer, just drop them on the beds they came off and leave a note on the bed telling us they are clean. DO NOT make up the beds without laundering the sheets. If this happens, we will need to strip the bed and launder, which adds to the cleaning time.

Other things to note
Guests/small gathers are welcome, just be sure to let us know. Our only concern is you having an enjoyable time but also being respectful to our neighbors/neighbor hood.

We live next door in the cottage, which is separated by landscape. There if you need us but we leave you alone and are rarely there.

Nantucket is home to this vacation home. Nantucket Historical Association and Historic Mitchell House are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Miacomet Golf Course and Cisco Brewers. Loines Observatory and Vestal St Observatory are also worth visiting.
