Surfside is the BEST south shore beach community on Nantucket, with lifeguarded beaches, bath house facilities, awesome eats at Surfside Beach Shack, bike bath and shuttle bus access.
This property was built in 2005 and renovated in 2019 and is beautifully appointed with attention to every detail! Private, yet close to town and beaches, the property is centrally air-conditioned, and features a brand new 16 x 34 heated salt water pool with lounge chairs, deck with gas grill and dining table/chairs, outdoor shower and covered porch with glider for morning coffee and glimpses of wildlife! The home also has large beautiful lawn and garden area.
Enter the home via front door to custom mahogany "cooks" kitchen with Wolf and SubZero appliances. The dining area is open-boasts beautiful pool and pastoral views, and seats 8-10 comfortably. The living room features large tv/cable, landline telephone and comfortable chairs.
There is one bedroom on the first floor which features a queen sized bed, with ensuite bath/shower, and has direct access to the deck and pool via french doors.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. First the master suite which has king sized bed, walk in closet, and large bathroom with "Tea for Two" tub and separate shower. The second bedroom upstairs has pool views, twin beds, and ensuite bath with shower. The basement is fully finished and beautifully appointed. You can access it from the first floor and also from the back yard. This room features full bath with shower, queen sized bed, bunks, sectional couch with cable tv and kitchenette. (perfect for two families vacationing together).
I have been in the hospitality industry for 25 years, and take pride in my rental business which is secondary to my profession as a teacher. My guests are comfortable every year, and I have had repeat customers for many years! I am on island so I am available to you for any help you might need!
Located in Nantucket, this vacation home is in a rural area and near the beach. The Old Mill and Historic Mitchell House are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Vestal St Observatory and Theatre Workshop of Nantucket. Loines Observatory and White Heron Theatre are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with kayaking and scuba diving nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and hiking/biking trails.
