Waccamaw Exchange is a four-bedroom, two-bath channel front home located 0.4 miles south of the Garden City Pier and within a two-minute walk to the beach. This home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Two bedrooms and one bath are located on the first floor (ground level, no internal access); two bedrooms and one bath are located on the second floor. Sleeping accommodations include two queen, one double (ground level), and two twin-sized beds (ground level). Outdoor amenities feature a screened-in porch, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, floating and stationary docks, and private boat ramp. No internal stairway between floors; external stairs only. Dog-friendly. Limit two dogs - 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see dog-friendly property agreement for details. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
