Relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of Turkey Creek right from your wrap around porch. This 2br 2ba cabin with a loft sits on 13ac of land, and is situated right on the creek. Walk along your private creek frontage and find several deep pools - plenty deep enough for swimming . This cabin is 17 mins. from the town of Mountain View AR with many attractions including hiking/biking trails, caves, the White River, restaurants, shops and fun local festivals.

The space - Turkey Creek Cabin
Newly renovated - Some exterior pictures are from February - so expect beautiful green grass and trees in the spring. The master bedroom has a king bed and a joining full bath. Second bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has 3 single beds. All brand new memory foam mattresses. The 2nd bathroom next to bedroom #2 has a shower only while the master bath has a tub/shower. The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase - a child safety gate is available but please be aware that children should be supervised when using the stairs.

The cabin its self is great, but what makes it a step above the rest is its position right along the creek. Our past guests have loved fishing, catching crawdads, and letting their kids and dogs play in the creek. It's one of the few places around Mountain View with waterfront you can play in beyond just fishing. Staying at Turkey Creek Cabin will make you feel like a kid again. The creek's flow depends on the rain - feel free to message us for it's current status. Past guest have said that even when it's low in late August they have still found deep pools on ether side of the house. We've recently added a propane grill on the porch for guests to enjoy grilling their dinner and a crockpot for savory soups/roasts.

Turkey Creek Cabin is also only 30 mins. from Fairfield Bay boasting a great set of restaurants, shops, the lake and other attractions, 17 mins. from Mountain View, 15 mins. To Shirley, and 30 mins. To Clinton.

The whole property is yours to explore with the exception of the shed outside, basement, and a locked closet and cabinet.
Other things to note
This cabin is easy to find, but g00gle maps can't seem to find it. Apple works fine. We will send you instructions on how to find the property after you book. The gravel driveway is about .2 miles long - so the hose is somewhat secluded.

Please note that we recommend driving a SUV/Crossover/Truck as you will need to drive over a wash that sometimes has some shallow water in it after it rains. If you are driving a car, be extra careful going down the driveway.

You will be provided with a towel and wash cloth per person, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, a kitchen sponge, and a roll of paper towels. Feel free to use the washer and dryer - but don't forget to bring detergent.

Located in Mountain View, this cabin is on the waterfront. Shirley Centennial Museum and Brickshy's Backstreet Theater are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Loco Ropes! and Mountain Ranch Course.
