Nestled in the woods on the South Side of Lake Ouachita, "The Hidden Gem" offers both convenience and privacy. Situated on 6 wooded acres just off Hwy 270 E, this 2-bedroom 2-bathroom home is ideal for couples traveling together or a family. A full-size sofa bed in the living room accommodates up to two additional guests. Overall, we can host a total of six guests.
Woods surround this home. Outside, we have a deck, patio furniture, a picnic table, a gas grill, a crystal washing station, and a fire pit. Inside, we have a 55" smart TV and an electric fireplace in an open-concept living room, a dining table with seating for 6, a full kitchen, and a dedicated workspace with an adjustable sit/stand desk. In between, we have a large screened-in breezeway with seating and extra towels.
We are located mere minutes from Lake Ouachita, local Quartz Crystal Mines, and hiking and mountain biking trails such as the LOViT and Womble Trails: 1.5 miles to Twin Creeks Use Area. 8 miles to Mount Ida. 30 miles to Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Located in Mount Ida, this vacation home is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Ouachita National Forest and Lake Ouachita. Nirvana Star Farms and Wegner Crystal Mines are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and mountain biking nearby.
