Surrounded on three sides by the Waccasassa River and covered by a canopy of shady oaks and native vegetation, this scenic retreat comes packed with Natural Florida charm. The cabin is furnished for no-frills comfort and standalone living, making this a great choice for a buddies' fishing trip or a relaxing getaway with friends and family. The large yard (shared with the neighboring cabin) provides plenty of opportunity for enjoying the outdoors with ample seating options, a gas barbecue grill, and a covered firepit. You'll be situated right between the Goethe State Forest and Wacasassa Bay Preserve State Park. There's also a canoe available at the property that you can use to explore the river. The colorful fishing community of Cedar Key is only 25 miles away. Cyclists can enjoy easy access to the Nature Coast State Trailhead in Chiefland (16.6 mi.). Fanning Springs, Manatee Springs, and Otter Springs are all within a 30-mile radius.

The cabin is configured like a bunkhouse and includes convenient kitchen items like a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a toaster oven. Additional essentials include a full bathroom, a washer/dryer, in-home WiFi, a smart TV, a mounted heater, and an air-conditioner unit.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
