Perched above the breathtaking bluffs of the South Cumberland Plateau, Piney House invites you to reconnect with the wild and wonderful outdoors—without giving up modern comforts. This peaceful retreat is the ideal balance of simplicity, style, and soul-soothing scenery.
Start your day with sweeping sunrise views from the private deck, then venture out to nearby natural gems like Foster Falls, The Caverns, and South Cumberland State Park—all within 15 minutes. In the evening, settle in beside the bluffside firepit as stars fill the sky.
Inside, enjoy a cozy master bedroom, charming loft, and fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher. Whether you’re curled up with a book, cooking up a favorite dish, or gathered around the fire, Piney House offers everything you need to slow down and savor the moment.
Note: Firewood is not included, but you’re welcome to bring your own or purchase a bundle from Retreat Vacations.
Located in Monteagle, this cabin is in a rural area and in the mountains. The area's natural beauty can be seen at South Cumberland State Park and Harton Park, while Sam H. Werner Military Museum and Tennessee Williams Center are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town?
