Stay comfortably in Mio at this remodeled schoolhouse cabin, which has so much history & charm! Nestled in the heart of nature, this serene and beautiful retreat offers a peaceful escape for guests. With 3 full beds, it's perfect for a family or group of friends seeking a cozy getaway. Enjoy the fresh air and unwind on the screened in porch, or on the new
beautiful pergola deck! In the evening, sit by the firepit (we provide FREE firewood) and listen to the tranquil sounds of the forest. Bring your dog too! We are very pet friendly! You will love the outdoor shower, where we never run out of hot water. There are walking trails, ORV trails just up the road & the Ausable river is right around the corner. We are close to town, but yet set in a very private wooded 10 acre space. So come & immerse yourself in the magic of Mio at our charming cabin, where relaxation and rejuvenation await.
Note; we require a 3 night stay on holiday weekends.
Mio is home to this cabin. Fairview Hills Golf Club and Cedar Valley Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Kirtlands Warbler Wildlife Management Area and Huron-Manistee National Forest. Boney Park and Wild Frontier Fun Park are also worth visiting.
