Take in the panoramic views of the river and watch the sun set before your eyes on our spacious deck. At night enjoy almost complete silence as you gaze at the stars around the fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saint Clements Castle & 8.7 miles to Wesleyan University this 3700 sq ft home features cathedral ceilings, marble foyer, granite counters, hardwood floors, large deck, two fireplaces, "touch" state of the art kitchen, your own private beach & the list goes on. Almost every room has a view of the river. **We now sleep 9 people, we added a 48"x75" Futon to the spare room (sheets provided)

Details:
Level 1 features three bedrooms, 2 rooms with queen beds, 1 room with two twin beds all bedrooms have a view of the river. The full bath has double sinks with granite counter tops and a shower/tub. There is also a lower living room with a 43' LCD TV, couch & games to sit & relax. New 2023- all 3 bed rooms have A/C
Level 2- Overlooking the river the main floor features laundry room, half bath, breakfast nook with fireplace insert (wood not included) , gourmet kitchen with stainless touch appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ pots, pans, utensils, air fryer/toaster, almost everything you would need for cooking. The living room has a 60' TV w/ 7 channel surround sound, DVD player with over 150 movies, leather couch & love seat. The dining room has a large cherry table with seating for 6-8.
Step outside to the huge deck to enjoy panoramic views and spectacular sunsets. The deck features an outside 32' LCD TV, outside speakers, couch & lounge chairs with over stuffed cushions, large eight person dining table, propane fire-pit with seating for eight, grill, and a air-chair swing and hammock underneath the deck.
Level 3- The upper level features the master bath with double sinks, granite counter. The beautifully tiled shower has a full glass door, 4 body sprays and a rain shower head. The master bedroom has its own small deck overlooking the river, a 50' TV, an a fireplace with a propane log-set and a large closet. The last room on the upper level is the Study/Bedroom with a 23' Google TV, Futon and a window seat to enjoy the view. (WiFi & Satellite TV through out the home)
Need some piece and quite but still want to have fun? This property is completely private. The 1/4 mile driveway takes you away from any noise leading you to complete privacy & solitude. No neighbors to be seen or heard from including across river. The sounds you would hear would consist of birds (including a Bald Eagle nesting across the river) and boats traveling the river.
Private beach
A walk down a stone path will lead you to a deck. Here a staircase brings you to your own private beach on the river. Enjoy the day hanging out on the beach, canoeing, watching the boats, swimming in the river or just make a campfire and relax. A canoes and a rowboat are available for you to enjoy at the beach. (Beach items available during peak season)
**The property has a helipad. Helicopters approach from South East (river side) land left of the house. A windsock is located on the roof.

Bring your boat! We installed a boat mooring so you can leave your boat in front of the beach during your stay. We can accommodate up to a 50' boat.
This is a No Smoking house, minimum age of 30 required to rent/sign rental agreement & sorry NO EVENTS.
