Our renovated turn-of-the-century 2400 sq ft home and back gardens are available for individual, couple or family.
Located in the old-town area of Merced, our home is situated on a large lot off a quieter downtown street. Our home has a large back yard with outdoor patio, small pond and garden, and offers guests a comfortable and quiet home as a base during guests' stay in the area.
Inside our home, the downstairs was has been include an open modern kitchen with cooktop, oven, stainless refrigerator, filtered water, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and food processor for the cook. Dining, front living room back family room, a small library room with piano & desk, a private office, guest bedroom and full bathroom round out the lower floor.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, where you'll find a the master suite with a king bed with full private bath with jacuzzi tub, a bunk room with a double/ twin bunk bed, and a bedroom with a double bed next to the 3rd full bath. The house has a tankless water-heater system for endless supply of hot water, and there are two HVAC heating and air systems - both upstairs and downstairs for climate control. Indoor washer and dryer.
If you area visiting UC Merced, Yosemite, or surrounding area this 4 bedroom home is a great place to stay for those looking for an alternative to the local motel scene. It is located about 1/2 mile from the train station and about 2 miles from the in the downtown corridor of Merced. We can help make your stay more enjoyable offering local insight and the best places to dine, shop, and be entertained.
The home has cable internet with WiFi network. Feel free to watch movies on Netflix or Hulu on the flatscreen TV in family room.
The fully landscaped backyard includes decks, patio and koi pond, a trellised walk and gardens Also sitting at at the back of the property is a a separate studio with a full kitchen, bath and its own private patio. (If you are in need of extra space the studio may be available, sleeps up to 4, please inquire for availability)
Merced is home to this vacation home. Regal Hollywood - Merced and Vista Ranch and Cellars are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit McNamara Park and Merced County Fairgrounds. Applegate Park Zoo and Stephen Leonard Park are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
