A combo of privacy & community makes the perfect spot for couples or families traveling together. The studios & Airstream offer quiet & solitude while the shared outdoor living areas foster togetherness. Each space has a comfy bed, full bath, kitchenette, and lots of amenities, plus futon or sofa in the apts. When the sun goes down, campfires are made easy with all the supplies provided (including ingredients for s’mores). Only 6 blocks from both Overton Park & Broad Ave, 10-12 to dt & Beale St.

We are more than happy to answer questions or offer help if you need it. Just text or call and we'll either come by or if our family is out of town when you are there, a neighbor will be available as well.

We hope you thoroughly enjoy our wonderfully diverse & transitional neighborhood of Binghampton. We've lived & raised our family here for 18 years and it’s our favorite part of Memphis, a beautiful example of poverty and affluence living side by side. You might meet some of our International Community, see urban gardens, colorful artwork, and eccentric neighbors. We're a short drive (or a long walk) from one of the best zoos in the nation, Overton Park (with walking/running trails, dog park, playgrounds & more).

Broad Ave arts district is a 2 minute drive and worth checking out. City & State is great for coffee and gifts, Wiseacre for craft beers, Sugar Ghost for ice cream & boba tea, Broadway Pizza, & Liquor Store for a meal out and lots more.

Enjoy exclusive use to apartments and Airstream (except for 2 locked cleaning closets) and outdoor living in the front & back yards

Stretch out in each of the 3 spaces and enjoy Netflix on the smart tv & WiFi. Each apartment also has fridge and freezer, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker (with coffee), clean linens, and plenty of comfy towels. Also, the studios are pet-friendly ($15 fee per apt with pets) but please no animals in the Airstream.

Adjacent to the host’s home—you have exclusive use of the property, totally private & meticulously clean.

Plenty of parking––6 spots off-street and more available if needed. Feel free to spend time in the relaxing backyard and outdoor living spaces.

Note the 1971 Airstream Ambassador includes all of the amenities you might expect with a tiny home. The almost full-size pullout sofa, single beds & petite bathroom are perfect for us (5’11” & 4’11”) but may be less comfortable for others. The kitchenette includes a 4-burner propane stovetop and over in addition to the amenities listed above.

You’ll be nice & toasty in the winter and cool in the summer with a space heater, rooftop AC, and portable fan.

The property is located right off Poplar ave, the main thoroughfare through Memphis, and Sam Cooper (connects with I-40). Bus stops are close by on Poplar and Hollywood (check Go@gle Maps for transit directions). Uber & Lyft are great options for travel in Memphis.

We provide local, organic coffee as well as granola bars for snacks or a quick breakfast. S'mores supplies are available in the Airstream to enjoy over a campfire.

Pets are welcome but there will be a $15 pet fee per apartment for extra cleanup often required. This is in addition to the regular rate and is usually applied automatically or can be paid through an app. Pets are not allowed in the Airstream.

Your stay provides a living wage for a refugee family who lives in the neighborhood and provides the housecleaning. Also, we donate a percentage of the profit from your stay to nonprofits that connect people in need with temporary housing. Thank you for staying with us!

While our cancellation policy is set as strict, reach out to us if plans change. We usually are able to provide a full refund if someone else books our place after you cancel.

The following does NOT apply to reservations made on Airbnb (who has their own vetting & resolution process). For all other booking platforms, guests are required to complete our pre-arrival process including a photo of a valid ID, signing our rental conditions, and submitting a valid credit or debit card to be pre-approved for a security deposit (card will not be charged just authorized in case of damage or rule violation). This process needs to be completed before check-in.
