The property's location is a great jumping off point for anywhere you want to go - with all the above under 15 mins away. We hope you'll explore the very best of all things Memphis & then come home to your own sweet retreat!
The space
The Velvet Elvis is a charming, 1932 home with original gleaming hardwood floors, arches, and fun surprises hanging on the walls. The kitchen has a clean, modern vibe with stainless steel appliances and lots of light. See the pictures of all the coffee, tea, cooking, and dining utensils provided. The bedrooms are big enough for two with closets, luggage racks, and plenty of storage if you want to "move in." In the queen-sized bedroom, there is a desk, desk chair, and lamp if you need to work(!) There is ample free parking on the property in the driveway - you can leave your car on the driveway in front of the house or pull through to have the car in the backyard.

Other things to note
We want to apologize in advance - Train tracks run east and west through the middle of Memphis, and we are not far from them. In fact, it's hard to escape their chug-chug-chug anywhere in Memphis. FedEx planes fly overhead depending on which way the wind is blowing as they make their way to the Memphis International Airport (7.3 miles/15 minutes away) for their quick turnaround. They're all part of Memphis's vibrancy and charm, but we want you to know ahead of time!

East Memphis, a neighborhood in Memphis, is home to this vacation home. Graceland and National Civil Rights Museum are notable landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid. Check out an event or a game at FedExForum, and consider making time for Memphis Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed.
