Lakewood Lodge is a beautiful, spacious log cabin with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Wake up to views of Lake Superior across the street (no lake/beach access) and start your day on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking, walking, hiking, and snowmobiling. The trail can be accessed on foot through the backyard, and snowmobiles can access it about 30 seconds down the street. The trail continues along the shore of Lake Superior to downtown Marquette and beyond to Ishpeming.
Marquette is home to this cabin. Marquette Harbor Light and Lakenenland Sculpture Park are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Superior and Little Presque Isle Recreation Area. Upper Peninsula Children's Museum and Marquette Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with snowboarding and skiing, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling.
