The neighborhood is peaceful and filled with wildlife, including herds of elk that often graze on the property. With high speed WiFi, a fire pit, gas log fireplace, cozy beds and furnishings, this stylish home has everything you need for a relaxing retreat.

With flat, easy access and a quiet neighborhood that is home to local wildlife, you’ll be so happy you chose this home for your Great Smoky Mountain getaway. Elk are frequent guests the property and this is a great location if you are hoping to get a glimpse of them.

The Elk Valley Hideaway is just minutes to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than 5 miles to the Cataloochee Ski Resort, and even closer to Tube World. It is also an easy drive to Cherokee, Harrah’s Casino, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Historic Waynesville is also just a few minutes away.

When you first arrive at the Elk Valley Hideaway, you’ll find parking for two vehicles. As you step through the front door the stylish decor and
furnishings invites you to make yourself at home. Enjoy the gas log fireplace, big screen tv, and high speed WiFi. This area opens into the kitchen and dining area, with everything our guests need for cooking and dining.

Travel through the living room to the spacious master bedroom with its cozy king size bed to relax and enjoy after a long day of hiking or skiing. From this room you can also access the back porch with its outdoor seating and charcoal grill.

Back inside, a second gorgeous bedroom with a queen bed greets you. There is a full bath for guests to share as well as a washer and dryer.

There is a private fire pit and creek access for you to enjoy in the backyard.

The Elk Valley Hideaway is less than a mile off Soco Rd with flat easy access all year long. The last part of the road is gravel but easy to navigate all year round.

We are available to our guests by phone, text, or messaging any time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all. We want you to have an amazing stay!

Laurel Branch Rd is filled with wildlife. Please drive slow in this are. This is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

You will need a car to best enjoy all the area has to offer.

Cell phone service can be limited in the area but we do have strong WiFi at the property.

The Elk Valley Hideaway is one side or a duplex/townhome. It has a private deck, parking area, and fire pit, however the creek access and back yard are shared with the other side.
Please do not leave fires in either the gas log fire place or the outside fire pit unattended. Accelerants of any kind, such as lighter fluid are prohibited.

Located in Maggie Valley, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Maggie Valley Opry House and Wheels Through Time Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Maggie Valley Festival Grounds and Fantasy Golf & Game Room. Queen's Farm Stables and Waynesville Recreation Center are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with snowboarding and skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as sledding.
