Mountain Dreams offers high speed WiFi, king size beds, a game room with a pool table and ping pong table, a creekside fire pit, and a fully stocked kitchen so you will have everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Set on just over 8 acres, Mountain Dreams is one of two sister cottages on this stunning property. The picturesque views will captivate you, and the soothing sound of the bold creek that runs through the property will lull you to sleep at night.

Located on the western edge of beautiful Maggie Valley, this lovely cottage is perfect for those wanting to experience all the area has to offer. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort and Soco Falls, and an easy drive to Cherokee, Harrah’s Casino, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

When you first arrive at Mountain Dreams Cottage, you’ll find a parking area for 2 vehicles at the front of the house, or you can pull further down the paved driveway to another parking area for 2-3 more vehicles. Relax in the swing on the covered front porch and soak in the stunning year round views and enjoy a cup of coffee.

As you walk in the front door, you’ll be delighted to find an incredible floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace, and original tongue and groove walls and hardwood floors. Fully renovated with new furniture throughout, you will settle right in to this cozy cottage with both its modern comforts and original charm.

The living room has tons of seating including a brand new queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, and Roku tv so our guests can stream their favorite shows. There is also a set of sliding glass doors that lead to a small deck facing the creek. From the living room, travel up a small flight of stairs which opens into the fully stocked kitchen and dining area as well as a hallway to the bedrooms.

Travel down the hallway and you’ll find the guest room with a brand new and comfortable king size bed and Roku tv. Across the hall you’ll find a full bath with a stunning walk in shower.

At the end of the hall you will find a spacious suite with a new king size bed, Roku tv, and attached full bath with a tub and shower, all recently remodeled. There is also a brand new washer and dryer in the closet of this room.

As you travel back towards the dining area, you’ll find a spacious and fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. From the kitchen, you may either take the back door out to the spacious creekside deck with outdoor dining and gas grill, or travel down the interior spiral staircase to the first floor game room. This spacious area boasts a pool and ping pong table, Roku tv, and a classic Nintendo NES mini game console. There is also another queen sleeper sofa in this room with a memory foam mattress. well as the entrance to the spiral staircase to the downstairs game room.

Outside there are so many areas for our guests to enjoy. The spacious backyard boasts a wonderful fire pit with creek access, fenced in dog area, and plenty of forest to explore if you desire.

There is a private road to access the cottage. It is paved and maintained year round. Mountain Dreams is the first house you will come to on the left hand side. There is plenty of room to turn around in the parking area so guests don’t have to back down the hill. During the winter months guests should have all wheel/four wheel drive in case of snow or ice.

We are available to our guests by phone, text, or message any time. Our property manager lives nearby and can help if needed as well.

Mountain Dreams Cottage sits on over 8 acres at the western edge of Maggie Valley. There is a private, paved road to access the house. There is one sister cottage on the property, and the rest of the area around the cottage is protected forest land.

You will need a car to best enjoy the property and all the area has to offer.

There is a small flight of stairs inside the main level of the cottage, and guests must use either the interior spiral staircase or outside stone stairs to access the first floor game room.

The driveway to the cottage is paved and steep. Four wheel drive is not necessary to access the cottage, but it is highly recommended in the winter months in case of ice and snow.

This property has two sister cottages on over 8 acres that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Please message if you are interesting in renting the entire property for family reunions or other special events.

This property cannot accommodate recreational vehicles or large trailers and is not recommended for motorcycles.
We kindly request that pets are kept off the furniture and bedding.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Pisgah National Forest reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Maggie Valley Festival Grounds and Fantasy Golf & Game Room.
