Welcome to Blue Pointe! This wonderful cottage has everything you need and more to have the perfect getaway at Lake Gaston! The spacious house, the water, the sun, the nice flat fenced-in yard with easy access to the water. Can this place be any more perfect?

When you arrive at this home, you will walk in through the mud room to a beautiful open-concept main floor. The large and spacious kitchen is equipped with all the bells and whistles so that you can prepare and share as many meals as you need! Everyone can gather around the large dining tables, inside or out, for a family meal or card game! The main floor living and dining rooms feature a wall of glass doors and windows that give panoramic views overlooking the peninsula lot and water. The doors lead out to the wrap around deck that has a gas grill and plenty of seating for all. This deck is the ideal spot for everyone to sit, relax, reflect on the day's adventures, and have a cocktail! The main floor also features a spacious master suite, and upstairs, off of the living room, you will find two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom.

Off of the kitchen, you will find a set of stairs that lead down to the massive basement! In the basement there is a large living area, games galore, and another master suite! We also have a super comfy sleeper sofa down there for extra sleeping space! This area is the perfect spot for kids and teens to have their own space while parents are upstairs! Or parents can come down and enjoy the games, while the kids play outside! We have even added an extra level of protection with the fenced in area of the yard that protects anyone from having direct access to the lake from the basement. However, we did add an extra gate at the back to make getting to the water nice and easy when you are ready to go!

As wonderful as the inside of this house is, the absolute best feature of this property is the LOT! And isn't that what you come to the lake for anyway? Spending time outside, soaking up the sun, and making memories on the water is the key to a successful vacation. There is room to do just about anything you want at this spot! Not to mention, it is completely FLAT! No giant hills or stacks of stairs to get down to the water here! More than enough room for kids to run and play. There is even room to have a pick up family football game if you want!

This lot is located at the mouth of a very deep cove that opens up directly to the main lake. You have the best of all worlds at this spot. You are tucked back enough to where you do not have to worry about constant boat traffic, but you also have direct access and wide open views of the main lake! This property has a stunning double boathouse, perfect for swimming or fishing! Unfortunately, the boat lifts are not available to guests, but you are more than welcome to tie off and store your vessels at any of the many cleats located on the dock.

You'll find the home fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans and about 90% of what most people need. If you need a specialty utensil or tool it might be best to bring it to avoid any hiccups to meal preparation. The management staff can assist with any special requests and is always available to help with whatever you need!

The bathrooms are stocked with courtesy soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use. Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. Some use more, some use less. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy roll provided.

A few more tid-bits... :)
1. We know what it's like to have dogs that are part of the family, so we welcome well-behaved, fully housebroken dogs (limit 2). All dogs will need to be registered on the Lake Gaston Vacation Rentals site, and they must be supervised at all times or in a crate if home alone. Please respect our home by keeping the dogs off of the furniture, inside and outside. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up any pet waste. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250. No cats please.

2. The house, like 99% of all lake homes, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3. Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats. You won't see much heavy wave action making it a safe haven for docking (make sure to bring your bumpers!)

Located in Littleton, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Roanoke Canal Museum and Trail and Royal Palace Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Chockoyotte Country Club and Weldon Mills Distillery. With jet skiing, kayaking, and water skiing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.
