-Easy drive to mountains for skiing, hiking. No need to drive, take the light rail to Union Station and catch the Winter Park Express Ski Train for $29.

-Estes Park is about an hour and a half away. Great mountain town and the Stanley Hotel featured in the movie The Shining plus around 5 pm each evening you can stop at the edge of town where a large herd of elk come down to enjoy the golf course. Don't miss Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park with elk, bears, bighorn sheep and exciting Trail Ridge Road.

-Explore ghost towns, gold panning, white water rafting or Central City/ Blackhawk for gambling casinos.
