This custom mining themed upscale cabin is nestled in the pine trees in the highly sought after Powder House Pass area outside of Deadwood/Lead. Being in the heart of the recreational corridor in the Northern Black Hills, you'll love the proximity to the local Mickelson Trail and snowmobile Trail #5 for your winter and summer adventures! Terry Peak is just a short 10 minute drive up the hill and you can actually catch a glimpse of the Eastern side of the mountain from the property! You can also enjoy the rim-rock canyon walls of Spearfish Canyon for a day of hiking, fly fishing and a summer cruise in as little as 5 minutes. ATV, snowmobile, hike, or bike straight from the cabin without having to worry about finding a trailhead, or stroll through the neighborhood and enjoy the old mining claims. With frequent wildlife, and incredible starry skies, the location couldn't be better. Keystone, Mount Rushmore, Hill City, and Custer State Park can all be accessed within under an hour's drive as well! Whether you're visiting the Black Hills for a relaxing getaway, a sight-seeing trip or an adventure-filled vacation, Iron Wheel Lodge is sure to make your trip delightful.
Once you've finished with your adventure filled days, coming home to your very own getaway cabin will be the icing on the cake. The design and upscale furnishings have been selected for comfort and relaxation. Spread out in the over 2100 sq. ft. of space with an open living/kitchen area is perfect for gathering while the wood flooring and rock fireplace set the cabin mood. There's a 3 car garage for your vehicles and motorcycles, and a wrap around covered patio to enjoy the outdoors. You'll also be one of the closest cabins to the Powder House Pass clubhouse, so a short walk and you can enjoy a heated pool, gas fire-pit, pool table, shuffleboard, a gathering place and more!
