Dr. Robert Guinan has lived in Lancaster most of his life. He is a graduate of Fisher Catholic High School, later attending Ohio State University College of Agriculture where he received his B.S. in Agriculture summa cum laude in 1980. He graduated cum laude from Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. While in veterinary school, he was a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society.

He joined the staff at VCA Morris in 1986 after spending 2 years in a mixed animal practice in Beckley, West Virginia. He is a member of the American and Ohio Veterinary Medical Associations and is a past president of the South Central Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Guinan's hobbies include woodworking and the outdoors. He lives in Lancaster with his wife, Debbie, and now is the proud grandfather of three. His youngest daughter, Molly, works here at the clinic on breaks from the University of Dayton.
