Overview:

Our home with beach access and a kayak backs up to 400 preserved acres on the quieter North side of the Lake. Walking distance to restaurants/bars. Hickory Run St. Park 10 mins, 5 mins to Big Boulder Ski, 10 mins to Jack Frost Ski, and 20 mins to Jim Thorpe Boro for more dining and entertainment. We have it all! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hiking, fishing, white water rafting, ATV tours, swimming. boating, antiquing & more! Close to: Split Rock, Pocono Raceway, Wineries, Casino, & Kalahari!

The space:
This private Saltbox style home has an open concept with a workstation tucked on the end of the balcony overlooking the living room area. There’s a large flat screen smart tv plus books and games. A Southern exposure with two skylights, two Sliding glass doors, and two large side windows bring in plenty of natural light. The gas fireplace is framed by the two sliding glass doors that lead out to the front deck. A fully stocked kitchen with a new dishwasher makes cleanup easy! The rear deck off the kitchen is perfect for entertaining with the gas grill, or relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. It overlooks a 400 acre preserved wooded area filled with rhododendrons, where you can enjoy nature and observe wildlife!

The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms with queen sized beds are on the second floor with a full bathroom, including a shower and tub. A computer workstation with an oversized monitor on the second floor provides a bright and cozy place with sky lights to work with internet access. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen-sized bed with a full bathroom off the Living Room. The bedroom on the lower level has a bunk bed and a rollaway bed with another full bathroom. Linens, pillow cases and towels are not provided to keep the cost and price down. Guests can bring their own or rent them from Kerryclean.com, a local linen rental service. Blankets and pillows are provided.

A Pro air hockey table and Foosball table on the lower level is fun for all ages! And a cornhole game is available for the backyard! A fire pit tops off your day for roasting smores!

There is a new washer and new dryer for your convenience. A central air heat pump system with individual controls for the lower level, first floor and second floor bedrooms comfortably cools and heats the entire house.

It’s a quick car ride or easy walk to the lake, local waterfront restaurants, bars & ice cream shop. Split Rock Town Center and indoor waterpark are only minutes away.

Guest access: The rhododendron-lined driveway leads to a parking area large enough for 4 cars. The whole house is yours to enjoy. Feel free to explore the natural wooded 1+ acre property!

Other things to note:
A short walk will take you to town to enjoy a meal at Piggy’s, the Terra Cottage Café, Nick’s Lake House Restaurant, Louie’s Prime Steak House, and Shenanigans. Take a short ride around the lake to enjoy the Lake View Tavern or other restaurants in the Split Rock Resort. On Boulder Lake just outside of Lake Harmony, you can dine at the Boulder View Tavern.

Beach, kayak and canoe launch access is on S. Lake Road across from Wood St with our Lake Harmony Estates beach tags. Instructions for using our two person kayak are in the binder in the house. There is parking at the Beach and overflow parking on Park Lane, near the Community tennis and shuffle board court that you can use as part of Lake Harmony Estates. The Lake Harmony Inn on N. Lake Road has boat rentals available during the summer, with its own docks. Fishing is allowed between the Lake Harmony Inn and Nicks Lake House Restaurant on property owned by Lake Harmony Estates.
