The open-plan great room—with its soaring ceilings and sweeping windows—joins the living, dining, and kitchen areas into one gorgeous, sunlit gathering space. A new large-screen TV offers family entertainment, with additional TVs available for different tastes.

The convertible entertainment suite includes a TV, stereo, DVD, DVR, fast Internet, library, puzzles, and video collection. Through French doors, this room can become part of the great room, or a fully-private fifth bedroom with a closet, new high-quality sleep sofa, and direct access to a bathroom.

“First time to the Outer Banks. We were able to get our family together to spend a memorable and fun Easter. We all loved Duck with its quaint stores, popcorn shop, and friendly people. Saw the Wright Brothers Museum, The Dunes, Lost Colony, Elizabethan Gardens and Aquarium. All were great and fun things to do. It was generally cloudy and very windy, with temps in the 50’s, but everyone had a great time. The accommodations were wonderful and we would stay here again. The home was clean and the furnishings were bright, cheery, and comfortable for nine of us, which included ourselves and our daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. (J&M)

'What a wonderful week we have had!!The first three nights we had 3 college friends and 3 husbands. On Wednesday we sent the guys home and 3 more “girls” arrived!! (Everyone over fifty.) Beach girls!!! We returned to this lovely abode. What a fab house to celebrate 28 years of cherished friendship.

Located in Carolina Dunes, a neighborhood in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near theme parks and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Corolla Beach and Kitty Hawk Beach. Nor'Banks Sailing and Children at Play Museum are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and cycling nearby.
