It’s a great setup for families! Nadina thoughtfully provided a booster seat, pack ’n play, and baby gate, which made traveling with little ones so much easier. Another highlight was being within walking distance of Mom’s Sweet Shop—don’t miss the truffles; they were a favorite on our last trip and still just as good! The house was exactly as described and portrayed in pictures. Wonderful house for our family (3 small children), as the beach access was adjacent to the home. Plenty of space for our group and then some. Kitchen well stocked, outdoor shower and space perfect for rinse after the beach for kids (and adults), and toys / games in the basement were a hit. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the Outer Banks, especially during off-peak times, so we recommend having your own transportation for convenience.

For those traveling from out of town, the closest major airport is in Norfolk, VA, approximately a 2-hour drive from Kill Devil Hills.
