You’re moments from the iconic Wright Brothers National Memorial and close to the Ocean Bay Lifesaving Station, offering some of the best beach access in the area. The public beach access includes a full bathhouse with restrooms, showers, changing facilities, and ample parking.
Restaurants, shopping, and three public golf courses are nearby, along with Jockey’s Ridge State Park, home to the tallest living sand dune on the East Coast. Take easy day trips to Downtown Manteo, Duck, Oregon Inlet, Pea Island Wildlife Refuge, or Cape Hatteras and its famous lighthouse. Off-season visitors enjoy quieter beaches, kayaking, shelling, and golfing with fewer crowds.
