This brand new south Maui vacation rental boasts ocean, mountain, and sunset views, a private pool, central air conditioning, and a peaceful location, with easy access to adventures on every part of the island.
Complete with plenty of comfortable seating in the living area, a dining table for 8, and bar seating at the kitchen island, the upstairs great room in Kihei's Hidden Gem provides the perfect gathering spot for quality time together. Its well-equipped kitchen features high-quality appliances, plenty of counter space, and everything you need for relaxing meals at home. A wall of sliding doors opens from the great room to the upstairs lanai and an expansive view of the ocean, where additional lounge seating and a dining table for six create opportunities for lingering over a morning cup of coffee or sunset cocktail.
The home's two large master bedrooms (one upstairs, one down) feature king beds, direct lanai access, and en suite baths, dual sinks, and large walk-in showers. On the lower level, guests will find a third bedroom with twin beds, and a fourth with two sets of bunk beds, each with an upper twin and lower double. The downstairs hall bath provides a dual sink vanity and a tub/shower combo.
Sliding glass doors lead from the downstairs master and the bunk bed room to a lovely pool area, with places to lounge in sun or shade, surrounded by tropical landscaping. A Baja shelf serves as a great place for sunbathing or playing with the kids, and the pool comes stocked with floats and noodles. After a day of fun in the sun, guests can take advantage of another heavenly aspect of island life - the private outdoor shower.
This Kihei vacation rental home enjoys a fabulous location on Maui's sunny south side, close to stunning stretches of sand like Keawakapu, Wailea Beach, and Makena (Big Beach). Wailea town's world-class dining, shopping, and golf courses are also nearby, along with activities like surfing, snorkeling, stand-up paddling, and hiking. Just a five-minute drive from grocery stores and restaurants, and a 15-minute drive from Kahului Airport, Kihei's Hidden Gem offers the ideal home base for exploring the Valley Isle, from the renowned waves of the north shore, to the Haleakala volcano, to the incredible beaches of the west side.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no fence between the pool and the downstairs rooms which open on to the pool deck! (see pix). While we have installed additional locks to protect little ones, guests should be aware of this.
