Fairways at Mauna Lani is a luxury complex located on the sunny Kohala coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Considered the sunniest spot in all of the Hawaiian Islands, the weather here is truly dreamy all year round!
This spacious property is a private gated community with meticulously manicured grounds, including a large swimming pool with a special shallow area for kids, a large hot tub, and a lava rock waterfall. As guests of the Mauna Lani resort, you will also have access to a fitness center and tennis courts. Fairways is within walking distance of restaurants and a gourmet market.

Once the playground of ancestral Hawaiian Royalty, the Mauna Lani resort is home to ancient Hawaiian fishponds, three miles of shoreline, petroglyphs, a green sea turtle nursery, two award-winning spas, and two top-rated golf courses. Whether you seek the thrill of water sports, wish to perfect your golf swing, explore nature and encounter endangered species, indulge in shopping for unique treasures, savor fresh island cuisine, or simply relax and unwind, everything you desire is right here!

Included a complimentary access (parking) to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, which offers a restaurant and a calm, semi-private beach. This is one of the best spots to snorkel on the island and is only a 5-minute drive from our home. A few minutes north, you'll find Hapuna Beach, one of the best beaches in Hawaii. Drive a little further north, and you'll find yourself in ranch country where you can go horseback riding or sign up for an ATV adventure. Joggers and walkers will enjoy winding through the resort and can choose from a variety of terrain, including a historic trail along the ocean. For those craving adventure, why not stargaze near the observatories at the summit of Mauna Kea or marvel at the power of an erupting volcano.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom (full), two-level home is situated in one of the best locations: you can enjoy the ocean breeze in the morning and afternoon, as well as beautiful sunsets, all from your lanai.

Enjoy a spacious, (kid-friendly) grassy area your kids will love, far from the main road and away from busy traffic.

A vaulted ceiling in the living room creates an open, airy feel.
The layout of the home ensures your privacy, with the master bedroom located on the second floor and the other bedroom on the ground floor.

With the exception of the master bedroom, all other areas of the home are accessible to people with limited mobility. There are no stairs leading to the entrance; however, both the front and lanai doors have a 3-4 inch step.

Enjoy a whole assortment of beach gear: chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach towels, cooler, and an umbrella.

BOTH bedrooms offer comfortable sleeping arrangements with high-quality mattresses and furniture. We've removed carpets from the bedrooms as they tend to accumulate dust. The only remaining carpet is on the stairs, which is there for your safety to prevent slips and falls.
Indulge in sweet dreams on the comfy king-size bed in the master bedroom.
The second bedroom features a new queen-size bed with a luxurious Beautyrest mattress and blackout shades on the windows for your complete privacy.
Additionally, a portable 'pack-n-play' baby crib is provided for your little one :-)

Enjoy a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, including a toaster, coffee grinder, blender, quality cookware, coffee makers (espresso and drip type), and upscale appliances.

New 60" Roku TV in the living room; 43" and 40" Roku TVs in both bedrooms; Spectrum cable TV app and many more free channels; watch Netflix, etc. using your account.

The master bedroom features an upper-level lanai.

In-suite laundry: washer and dryer ( A "Free and Clear" hypoallergenic detergent is provided ).

Check-in and out are very easy (and contactless!), no matter how late you arrive: the entrance door is equipped with a key-less lock (keypad) — enter the number combination that we'll provide, and that's it, you're in! No need to go to a second location to pick-up and drop-off a key.

The Fairmont Orchid hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk away, perfect for strolling around, using their beach and enjoying a meal. Additionally, a grocery store with a good selection is located within a 10-15 minute walking distance as well (or just a couple of minutes by car).

Parking is FREE. You will NOT need to pay any additional fees (such as resort fees, parking fees, etc.) upon arriving. You can park at any available parking space near the property; there are plenty of parking stalls around; 3 of them are right near the entrance to the home. Garage is very small (you could barely open door of your car once you are inside the garage), therefore it is impractical, so it will not be available for guests in order to avoid damage to your car and to the property.

Please note there is no source of carbon monoxide in this property: there are no gas or wood-burning appliances. Stove and water heater are electric. Smoke detectors are installed in this property.
