The Mauna Lani Beach Club is one of the best kept secrets on the Big Island. This protected beach has a restaurant, Napua, that looks over Makaiwa Bay and historic Kalahuipua’a fishponds. Makaiwa Bay is protected by a cove where swimmers and snorkelers enjoy the calm waters and an abundance of tropical fish!

The surface waters of the open ocean around Mauna Lani range from 77 °F (25 °C) between late February and early April, to a maximum of 83 °F (28 °C) in late September or early October. With water temperatures this mild for hundreds of miles around, the air that reaches Hawaii is neither very hot nor very cold. Located to the north, beachcombers and surfers alike, will enjoy Hapuna Beach next to Waialea Bay, a lively surfers beach next door to the Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel.

The well-appointed kitchen includes granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, rice cooker, blender, toaster, coffee maker/grinder, and complete cooking tools, ready for your time in Paradise!
