Located on the scenic west side of Wallowa Lake, Mount Howard Chalet offers a gorgeous waterfront setting, comfortable and thoughtful furnishings, and a private boat dock that you can use all summer.

Step inside to find high-quality pieces throughout the house. Guests frequently comment that it feels like it's right out of a magazine! This three-level home is actually quite large, offering plenty of privacy for your group. The main floor is home to the kitchen, the dining space, and the living room, and provides access to the deck. Relax in the living room beneath vaulted ceilings that not only let in the light but give you a treeline view.

The lower level features a king bedroom, a utility area with a newer washer/dryer, and another door out to the patio with steps that lead down to the private boat dock. The upper-level loft has a king bed with an open banister down to the living room; because of the vaulted ceilings on the main floor, you have a nice view from your bed of the trees and the night sky.

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal private docks are typically placed for Memorial Day thru Labor Day. These are placed and pulled by a 3rd party and several variables come into play such as lake levels, snow and company availability. We do our best, but these items are non refundable items if a problem occurs with their timing of putting in the water and pulling from the water.
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No cable service, but there is a smart TV with DVD/VCR.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.
Do not exceed the occupancy or parking limits at any time.

Docks are seasonal which means access to the lake from some lakefront homes is seasonal too. If the dock is not in the water we urge you to not try and access the lake from the home and by doing so will be at your own risk.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Located in Enterprise, this vacation home is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Wallowa County Museum and Valley Bronze Gallery & Foundry are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Stein Distillery and Wallowa Lake Tramway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
