A-Frame Retreat at Wallowa Lake sits just a few blocks' walk off the main road, but it still feels quite private and serene. Enjoy a large yard, a nice picnic area with plentiful outdoor seating, views of the surrounding mountains, and easy access to the activities on the resort side of Wallowa Lake.

The spacious, open floor plan is consistent on both levels. The main level offers a galley-like kitchen, a dining area, and a living room, keeping everyone involved in what's going on. The bathroom has a stall shower and the main-floor bedroom has a queen bed.

Climb the steep steps up to the loft, where you'll find more sleeping space and a half-bath. It's the perfect space for kids to unwind (but watch the stairs)!

This home is located on the resort side of Wallowa Lake, within easy walking distance of the Wallowa Lake Tramway, Scenic Meadows Go Carts, and the Wallowa Lake Marina. If simply hanging out is more your speed, there's a nice concrete patio out front with ample lawn furniture and a nicely maintained yard.

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No cable service, but there is a Roku/VCR/DVD.
Please note that there is a steep staircase leading up to the loft area that may not be accessible for all guests; also, please note that there is a gate at the top of the stairs and while the stairs are lit well, caution is always necessary.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.
Do not exceed the occupancy or parking limits at any time.
EV vehicles are not allowed to be plugged into the house.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Located in Joseph, this cabin is in the mountains. Wallowa County Museum and Valley Bronze Gallery & Foundry are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Wallowa Lake Tramway and Stein Distillery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
