Enjoy a get away at this cozy, private cottage approximately one mile from charming downtown Jonesborough! This cottage is on the same property as the host however is sits off to the side of the yard, in the woods, so it is private.
The space
Need a place to get away and unwind? This cozy cottage is perfect for a couple or small family. It is approximately 500 square feet and suited for 2 to 3 guests. The cottage is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, tucked into the woods and is only one mile from downtown.
Enjoy making a meal in the fully stocked kitchen which includes a Keurig coffee maker, coffee/creamer and hot cocoa along with some basic cooking essentials. There is a full size refrigerator, microwave small stove/oven and all the basic cooking utensils.
There is also a picnic table, charcoal grill and firepit. I provide the paper, wood, firestarter, marshmallow sticks and chairs.
Enjoy a good nights sleep in a comfortable king sized bed . There is also a 36 inch television in the room. The second bedroom can double as a living room. It has a 48 inch television and a single daybed with a comfortable new memory foam mattress. WiFi, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon are available in both rooms.
The bathroom is on the smaller side with a small shower (which may be difficult for larger people to maneuver). Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided.

The cottage is cooled by 3 AC units (1 in kitchen and 1 in each bedroom). In the cooler months there are heaters and an electric fireplace. Please note... There is a train that runs by the back of the property approximately 150 to 200 yards away. The AC units/fans help mask the noise if you are a light sleeper. I also provide ear plugs.
Upon entry to the cottage you will need go down a sloped pathway with 6 steps. There is a handrail however if you are unsteady or have poor balance, I would not recommend this rental.

* This cottage is non smoking/vaping and pet free. It is also not child-proofed, so may not be suitable for toddlers. Only guests on the original booking are allowed for overnight stay. Thank you!

Additional Info:
There is a fenced yard behind the main house that is not available for guest use. My dogs have access to this area through a doggie door.
Guest access
There is a separate parking area and walkway to the cottage. Check-in and entry are with a keypad on the door. The code will be given once your reservation is confirmed.

Jonesborough is home to this vacation home. Christopher Taylor House and Jonesborough Historic District are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Tennessee Hills Distillery and Austin Springs Spa & Salon. Wetlands Water Park and Johnson City Family Skatecenter are also worth visiting.
