Authentic Adirondack Charm, Comfort & Family Memories
Come experience the Adirondacks the way they’re meant to be enjoyed — in a comfortable, welcoming family home with true rustic Adirondack charm.

This is not a brass-and-glass, modern hotel-style getaway. It’s a home with character, warmth, and the relaxed feeling of a place where you can truly settle in, kick back, and enjoy time together. Our goal is to preserve the charm of the original Cape-style home while providing the comforts families want during their Adirondack vacation.

The home has recently received a deep cleaning and numerous updates, including fresh paint, new linens and curtains. There is updated flooring on the main level, ground level and second level decks, and the second floor allows for total privacy with each bedroom boasting its own private full bath.

Comfort for Everyone
Each bedroom features its own private bathroom, vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans, individual wall heaters so everyone can choose their own comfort level, and sliding glass doors leading directly to a second-level deck with beautiful views overlooking the Hudson River.

The home also includes:

Wrap-around decking

Screened porches

Washer and dryer

Dishwasher

Wi-Fi

Cable TV

Large yard for outdoor games and family activities

Fire pit for relaxing around a nightly campfire

Dog-friendly accommodations with prior approval

The second floor brings fresh, updated bedrooms and bathrooms while still maintaining the home's original Adirondack personality. The bedrooms feature comfortable room-sized rugs, helping preserve the home's classic character while keeping it inviting and practical until new flooring is decided on and installed.

A Family Home in the Adirondacks
This property has been a work in progress, with renovations continuing as we improve and update the home while staying true to its original charm.

Most importantly, we want to keep this home comfortable, authentic, and reasonably priced for families who want to enjoy everything the Adirondacks have to offer without spending a fortune on accommodations.

You won’t find a cookie-cutter hotel experience here — and that’s exactly the point.

This is a place where you can make breakfast together, let the kids enjoy the yard, gather around the fire pit at night, open the doors to the deck and take in the Hudson River views, and simply enjoy being together.

We are especially grateful for the returning guests who appreciate the home's unique style and have made it part of their Adirondack traditions. We hope you’ll become one of them.

Come stay, slow down, and make yourself at home in the Adirondacks.

Located in North River, this vacation home is in the mountains and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Blue Mountain Wild Forest and Indian Lake Islands State Park, while North Creek Depot Museum and Tannery Pond Community Center are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Garnet Hill Lodge and Ski Resort and Revolution Rail Co.. Discover the area's water adventures with water tubing and rafting nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with horse riding and hiking/biking trails.
