Let Kendall Cottage be your base camp as you explore of the treasures of Jekyll Island. Enjoy the hush of the morning with a coffee on the screened back patio overlooking the private heated pool. Bike, run or stroll on the marsh side paths, just off the end of the driveway. Relax by the pool inside the cathedral lanai enclosure. Prepare meals in the updated, well-equipped kitchen. Catch a sunset out the front door and settle in for a relaxing evening with a movie, game, or book of your choice.
The Space:

Our calendar is currently blocked until spring of 2026, while we work on some house updates. When completed, we will have 2 king suite bedrooms with private baths and an updated main bath. Systems throughout the house are getting upgrades and we will have a fresh coat of paint throughout the interior. Current photos are all prior to renovations, with new photos coming in early spring. Bedroom and bathroom counts on this listing are for the post renovation floor-plan. Message us for latest pictures, we would love to share with prospective guests!
Our private, screened pool is the certainly the highlight of the summer season. Play a game of corn hole pool side, float with a beverage or dive for toys.

In cooler months, the patio is still a marvelous place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The pool is open year round with a heater that should keep it swim-able in cool weather, but will not be able to keep up during cold spells. The heater is set to 84, and should not be adjusted or tampered with by guests. Service charges will apply if reprogramming is required.

○ 4th bedroom is equipped with a queen size Murphy bed to accommodate an office setup for those that want or need to do some work during their stay on the island. We have a pair of monitors already setup, bring your laptop & doc

○ High speed, multi-unit mesh WiFi system to insure even internet coverage throughout the house

○ A total of four, 4K Smart TVs, two in bedrooms, one in the family and living rooms so you can stream from your favorite sources

○ Recent appliance upgrades for laundry and the range

○ A second full refrigerator/freezer in the garage, provides ample storage for you to stock up on your way in and enjoy the island for the week
Guest Access:

You will have full access to the entire house, yard, and garage.
The Neighborhood:

Located centrally on the western edge of the island, just north of the historic district. The home has a vista over the marsh yielding magnificent sunset views from the front door. Access to the north loop bike trail is just across the street.
Getting Around:

Car, cart or bike around the island. Walk the paths along the marsh.

Starter amenities provided include paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry pods and a spare roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. Guests need to plan for additional items for when their starter set runs out.

Located in Jekyll Island, this vacation home is near a water park. Summer Waves Water Park is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Driftwood Beach and Jekyll Island State Park. Georgia Sea Turtle Center and Captain Scott Owens are also worth visiting.
