Escape the crowds head to this Unique Mountian Hideaway where the air is pure, and has the scent of Balsam Christmas Trees. Can drive right to the door. This modern and attractive log cabin sits high on Black Mountain (Ck out photo of location), Jackson NH. It’s surrounded by the privacy of the White Mountain National Forest. It has the feel of being in the wilderness, but minutes to civilization. On a clear night step outside and shut off the lights, you can almost touch the stars, and hear a pin drop. The privacy and spectacular views truly add to this great log cabin. Surrounded by Nat Forest and large tracts of private land with conservation easements the wildlife abounds. The interior is handsomely furnished, 2 bedrooms, and loft sleeps 6. A granite countered kitchen which is fully equipped - garlic press to wine glasses. Wood stove fireplace is in main open concept common room area adjacent to dining, and living room areas. The lower walkout level contains a finished recreation room with flat screen/DVD, there is a large film selection.The cell signal is strong , and internet can be accessed on laptop through hot spot on cell. This Magnificent Hideaway is on The White Mtn National Forest Trail System - Bald Land Trail, East Pasture Loop, and Black Mtn Cabin trails all connect to the Federal trails. A 5 minute ride to Jackson Village, offers some top notch restaurants and taverns all family friendly. There are 2 public golf courses in town. Swimming at Jackson Falls is a treat along with many other options. The Ellis and Wildcat rivers offers excellent fly fishing only designated areas and plenty of places for worm & bobber. People have chosen Jackson for their vacation destination since the 1800’s,and for many good reasons. The town of North Conway is a 20 min ride- tax free shopping and plenty of taverns & restaurants.
